Progress Update #1

Nee hǎu

Well, today is week 8 of the Jet Li tribute and so far, things are going well. I haven't missed a movie, I've maintained my snacks of spring rolls with Pepsi, and my Jet Li t-shirt is looking great as always!

However, me being me, I haven't been able to maintain my bLog about this adventure. Well, rest assured I have not forgotten about my online fans! Hopefully I will be able to start writing about this journey and get you all caught up in the next few weeks - there is much to share and some great kung fu to discuss.

Until then, know that I will in a few hours I will be sitting in front of my television with a big cup of cold Pepsi, some spring rolls fresh from the oven, and Jet Li beating up American criminals so much they follow him around, begging to become his students.

Gosh I am looking forward to watching The Master again tonight!

Pre-Marathon Progress Report #1

As a warm-up to this great event, I watched Hitman tonight. Such a great movie; I enjoy the comedy elements of Honk Kong action films such as this.

Made some more orders with my pay this week and toying with picking up a blu-ray player with multi-region capabilities, as it would mean blu-ray copies of The Master, Dr Wai and The Warlords. The Warlords is awesome and I think it would be worthwhile to have the full uncut version in glorious HD (as opposed to heavily edited UK DVD I currently own). Dr Wai and The Master aren't as important, but they would no doubt look better than any DVD version available.

Still holding out hope I can find a Mei-Ah anamorphic release of Shaolin Temple. If anyone is able to help a brother out and point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
